So this is Prana Pratishta, where the life force – God’s life force – is flowing and that place doesn´t just stay just a place. It becomes a temple. A temple, where God resides.”

– Paramahamsa Vishwananda

ABOUT HINDU CEREMONIES & DEITIES

Hinduism is based in one God, one Truth, one Reality, that is expressed in many different ways. That’s why the Hindu tradition has so many deities: the variety of deities reflects all the different qualities of this one supreme Reality, but manifested in different shapes and forms.

At the Inauguration, the priests will perform a ceremony known as prana pratishta, or the placing of life. This is where the presence of the Divine is invited to reside in the Murtis.

Each temple Deity embodies unique Divine qualities that help us to advance on our spiritual path and connect to the Divine within.

ABOUT PARANITYA NARASIMHA

Paranitya Narasimha, meaning the “supreme, eternal” form of Narasimha, is a special form of Narasimha, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and the main Temple deity.

Narasimha is most known for being the protector of the innocent and the one to destroy all negativity, both internally and externally.

His presence allows us to bring positivity and abundance, both spiritually and materially, into our lives and enjoy our eternal, loving relationship with the Lord.

This special form of Narasimha was materialized by Paramahamsa Vishwananda in 2011 for the upliftment of humanity.
