Matsya Avatar appeared as a divine fish to save humanity and the sacred Vedas from a great cosmic flood. According to the Puranas, He warned King Manu of the coming deluge and instructed him to build a boat. When the waters rose, Matsya guided the vessel safely through the storm, preserving life and divine wisdom for a new cycle of creation. Matsya embodies divine protection and guidance — a reminder that whenever chaos threatens dharma, the Lord intervenes to restore balance and order.
During evening prayers we will do a special abishekam to our Matsya Shaligrama.
