Namakatti | Srichurnam Red
Honor tradition and invite divine blessings with our Sacred Namakatti Tilak Clay Stick.
Used for generations by Vaishnavites and other Hindu devotees, the Namakatti is an essential part of spiritual life. It is lovingly crafted from pure ash (vibhuti) and sacred clay, used to draw the Naamam—the sacred forehead marking symbolizing the presence of Sriman Narayana and Sri Lakshmi.
The traditional application features two vertical white lines representing Lord Vishnu, with a colored Srichurnam line between them, representing Goddess Lakshmi. Together, these markings beautifully express devotion and spiritual belonging.
More than a symbolic gesture, applying the tilak (Naamam) is believed to balance energy, cool the forehead, and shield against the loss of spiritual energy, making it an important ritual for daily worship, festivals, and even for newborns.
Our Namakatti is ideal for personal use and temple service, including decorating idols and altars. Available in traditional white and red.
