On 8 April 2020, Paramahamsa Vishwananda received a divine vision of Lord Vitthala, in which the Lord revealed the mantra "Sri Vitthala Giridhari Parabrahmane Namaha" — my obeisance to the Supreme Lord Vitthala, the refuge and protection of all. From that revelation, this murti (sacred image of the Divine) took shape as the visible form of the mantra itself. Vitthala stands waiting for His devotees; as Giridhari, He is Krishna, the one who lifts the burdens of those who surrender; as Parabrahman, He is the Supreme Truth, fully present and reachable through love. Cast in solid brass and polished to a brilliant high shine, the murti stands on a lotus base.
