This japa mala is handcrafted in India from authentic tulsi (Holy Basil) wood, the plant honored in the Vaishnava tradition as most beloved of Lord Krishna. Its 108 round beads carry a pale, natural finish and are gently graduated — from about 7/16" up to 9/16" in diameter — a quiet progression that keeps the fingers oriented through every round of mantra. Each bead is individually hand-knotted on strong cotton thread for durability and smooth, uninterrupted flow, finished with an orange tassel.
